A huge congratulations to the Thru A Lens team for winning the 2013 Queensland Multi Media Awards “Best Documentary” with our TOMNET ‘Older Men; Hidden Hardships’ film. The documentary gave six older men, all members of TOMNET, a way to share their struggles with depression, loneliness and suicide. The award is so well deserved; the team captured our men’s stories beautifully, with emotion, respect and dignity.
